Optical Model Analysis of Elastic Scattering of 6He + 58Ni

In the present study, the elastic scattering angular distribution of 6He on 58Ni is investigated at incident energies of 12.2, 16.5 and 21.7 MeV. Three different nuclear potentials by means of the phenomenological and the microscopic approaches based on the optical model are used in the calculations. The elastic scattering results of all the models are compared with the literature results
as well as the experimental data.
