Abstract


ABSTRACT This study includes that Kadiköy Alluvial Fan and its environment is created by Bekirhüseyin brook which is a small stick of the Euphrates River which creates the boundary between Elazig and Malatya. To pass fault where from the south of Mount Harabekayis has a significant impact these fan on the formation. The area of Kadiköy Alluvial Fan is 7.3 km². Land-use of this Alluvial Fan has lived major changes especially, in 1986, throught moving of Kadiköy settlement where is eastern part of this fan that sit down under the Karakaya Dam Lake. Organized in a planned of this new settlement and under the agricultural areas increases that this importance of geomorphological units in terms of land use. While earlier on the fan has ranged of farming only in a limited areas, with the planning and regulations has been made important gains that especially in terms of garden cultivation and settlement
